This is a JMI AC15... JMI made the amplifiers for the Vox Musical Instrument company way back in the day. Since Vox is making primarily Chinese junk these days, JMI has gone back to business and they're making these amps the EXACT SAME way they were in 1959. This is the guitar straight into the amp, and the amp just barely turned on. With this amp cranked -- it's the sweetest distortion you'll ever hear.

  • did you ever sell this amp? thanks again!

  • sold this amp. it was awesome. but i picked up a 1959 AC15 Fawn black panel that's KILLER!

  • @davidfujung which one do you like better? What are the tonal differences?

  • they are both amazing amps. the original Vox has a little more mojo... but is a bit grittier when turned up. not as clean singing of an overdrive. big price difference though, the reissues are around $2,600 -- where an original black panel can be anywhere from 5-15 grand.

  • @davidfujung what model is this exactly

  • this is the JMI 15
