@NightHawk7117 As I said, in this case it wasn't so much hunting for food, but more like playing with a moving thing - quite common with felines, don't you think? After it stopped moving... well, nothing better to do with it than to eat it. :)

@NightHawk7117 it's more like he's playing than hunting. Did you see how he tried to get the fish back in the pool to see if it will still be moving around? Then, after it failed... well, let's have a bite.

Most of cats - except those living in extreme wilderness, e.g. tigers - hunt for fun, not survival. This cat seems to be kept in a zoo or a shelter of some sort, so my guess would be he's well fed and does not need to struggle for food.

... Hes not trying to catch it smart ones. He's playing with it... Regular household cats do the same with small creatures.
