I absolutely love how they were able to tie all of these plot points from the last three years together like this.
You can just tell the writers were taking good care of their story. To plant this seed in season one and give us breadcrums over three years to result in this butterfly at the end.
And yes I know that was an incredibly mixed metaphor but it's the best I could come up with.

@Argo2Eternal That's a good theory. Sinclair went into the past, Delenn stayed in the present, and Sheridan went to the future. I like that.

@PeterBluth I assumed that as the One Who Will Be, that Sheridan goes to the future. This idea came to me when , as the One Who Was, Sinclair went to the past. Sinclair couldn't stay, because he'd continue to age rapidly, so going back was the answer for him. Sheridan's time was up as well when his extended 20 years was up, and Lorien came to take him beyond the rim and/or wherever else he went

Zathras lived a great life. Lived in present time to take care of the Great Machine, but became the protector of the one, Valen, and went back in time with no credit to his sacrifice. Such a simple character, but so strong. We will miss you buddy.
