This is my small understanding...The practice should be relaxing & pleasurable. While you're not supposed to be "looking" at anything in particular, surrounding yourself with beauty is a worthwhile thing to do. Not only is it a way to cultivate the qi of the environment (a kind of fengshui), but it helps the qi that you gather too. Cleaning the source of a stream before drinking.

Your awareness, depending upon the particular practice, is spread evenly between inside & outside.

  • All the of the videos & books & audiobooks by Ken Cohen are awesome! I recommend purchasing them all!

  • Nice explanation. I think your eyes should be (half) closed though and your tongue should be just behind your upper front teeth, for the rest keep it up. looks like he knows what he is doing. But can you explain to me why you should look at a pretty garden or something like that? becuase I think you have to focus inwards to your body and not outwards? Can you explain it please.

There is not many accurate explanations on youtube, many are even moving around and call it standing meditation.

  • This is a very powerful healing meditation, it's awesome!!

  • So, emptiness?
