Instead of using your furnace for the entire house, I use Lasko ceramic heaters-- 2 downstairs and one upstairs.

  • I use one heater for upstairs, one heater for the downstairs entry and one heater in the den.

  • Thanks for your comment. I really love mine-- they're running now. bybyby

  • My box says Model 755320, Lasko, medium room. I'm using them again this year. Comes with a 3 year warranty.

  • This is pretty cool. I bought this exact heater for my room but it cut the power out for the entire floor of the house twice the day I got it. I do however have my computer, mini frigde, and TV in there as well. I don't know what to do with my heater now.

  • It's the same situation here. I have 60's electrical and I can't blow dry my hair in my bedroom with my electric heater powered on even if it isn't running. I have enough electrical outlets to run other stuff from other rooms, though.

  • Thanks for sharing. I have at 1800 sq foot home and just bought the 30 inch model for the living room. I might get more if it works so well.

  • Good. Mine are still doing great. I got my electric bill and it costs $20 extra to run all 3 continually; so I am pleased and relieved. Stay warm.

  • Thank you so much Rita! You are the only video I could find that actually talked about the heater and showed how you used them, and you gave such good information! I really appreciate your commentary on the Lasko Heater. It's nice that you made this video, for people just like me, trying to find which heater to buy. Thanks again.... Kym

  • Thank you for making this vid. We have been looking for something to help heat our living room/kitchen and this would be great.

  • Nice video.... thanks for posting.

  • I recently got 2 lasko (model 5805). I have a trailer which are always fun to keep warm.

One is right between the kitchen and living room 'it heats both nice'. The other one I keep aimed down the hallway to heat not only the hallway, but 3 rooms! It's about 20f outside and about 70f inside. These lasko ceramic heaters are the real deal.

  • These work. I have one and it heats half of my house. it is 31 degrees out and I have not turned the main gas heater on in the house yet. I have a DeLonghi radior style with a fan in the main bedroom that heats it and the hallway. Paying an extra 15 bucks on my electric bill is way better than 75 to 100 on the gas bill! Buy one or 2 of these heaters! they are worth every penny!

  • @ritasbailey Thanks so much! Have been researching this idea and found your video, and this seems to be the popular heater i've been reading about. Just wanted to make sure it was the same one. Heating bills lower?
