The Waitresses were a New Wave band during the early 1980s from Akron, Ohio. The band was led by Chris Butler, lead singer was Patty Donahue.
Its a cool song but it reminds me of my hornie classmates!

She died in December 1996 of lung cancer.
Cigarette smoking sucks and kills so many people. Yeah I know it was her choice to be a heavy smoker, but it is still so said. How ironic that there only really big "pop" hit video starts out with her dragging on a cigarette. Very sad....
