Timelapse and Slow motion of a forest getting cut down.
I'm not a hippie or anything... I just think a pile of dirt or "cookie-cutter houses" is less appealing...

  • WOW, that's a very cool video! Nice combination of the Time-Lapse with the SloMo... and cool Sound even though I would have done the beginning more dramatic!

How long was the time-period in which you captured the real destruction? Seems just like one day because the night is missing... or did you cut out the night in between...?

    Cheers, troXstudios

  • one day of just the forest, two of the cutting...

the actual cutting was over 5 days, but the first day shown, couldn't see any trees missing. The slow motions were different days aswell. This was all taken in July but havent had the time to put it together... Only after publishing the video I noticed the hot air balloon at the end.

  • yes, thats progress, do you live there? maybe they did the same to build your house, it always happens the same; I can summarize...

    *You have a beautiful scenery

*Soon someone decides to live there and enjoy the views

*Not before long, other people want to move in...

*The building process is repeated, and little by little, all natural beauty disappears.

It happened that way with my homeland...
