inspired by the opening to the movie "Love Actually" and after spending about 2 days combined at the Geneva Airport this summer, working in the arrivals area, i decided to make this video.
i had never been in an airport that had so much traffic for arriving passengers. it was really something amazing to see. yes, at times i felt kind of creepy filming these strangers saying hello to they're loved ones for the first time in days, weeks, months or even years, but the opportunity to share this type of love was far more important to me.
i hope you enjoy this video set to the music of Coldplay's "Swallowed in the Sea."
...and next time you pick someone up from the airport...stand, sit, kneel, lay for as long as it takes for them to arrive. bring flowers, signs, balloons, cards, or anything else you can think of for them. and give them kisses, love, smiles or a great big hug when you see them. welcome back those you love with...love.
