  • @Bingo1059 man, it's hilarious when peeps pull out their pretentious dictionary to be an asshole.

listen kid, either way, it doesn't make this song immoral, cause if it was according to your righteous bitchy attitude, it'd be illegal, wouldn't it?

fucking asshole, get the fuck out, because obviously, it's justifiable enough to be accepted be on youtube

  • @iliveforthemaga Oh boy are you slow:

    1. characterized by uprightness or morality: a righteous observance of the law.

    2.

morally right or justifiable: righteous indignation.

    3.

acting in an upright, moral way; virtuous: a righteous and godly person.

    __

Thats sad when you can't even check your arguments, this has gotten far too puerile for me to even waste any more of my time.

  • @Bingo1059 i listen to this song because i am innocently content with myself, which is what the song is trying to go for, not to justify immoral and senseless killing.

if i made a song called 'be good to your neighbor', you'd be the righteous pig to assume that i even mean to give murderers and rapists a nice big smile everyday. that's what righteous is, to actually think any one in the right mind would accept such intolerable acts, when listening to a song that advocates opposite

  • @Bingo1059 are you serious? you actually think i give a flying fuck about what other people do besides listening to this song? i know for a fact that i'm not a righteous person, because if i was, i wouldn't even accept people for killing people or doing immoral things, and that doesn't even make sense, i don't have to be righteous to oppose murder and unethical acts. you again prove you have no sense of vocabulary or of reasonable sense

  • @iliveforthemaga No, believing a "lie" doesn't make you a righteous pig, it's the reason behind why you believe the lie. You want to feel like you can accept everyone for everything they do, no matter what it is they do. Now sometimes because what they do is considered wrong, you must rationalize it 'Well... hmm... it's written in context of someone who WON'T kill anyone"... It's a sad attempt to hold on to a weak belief.

  • @Bingo1059 also, if believing a 'lie', makes me a righteous pig you obviously have no grasp of vocabulary as well. shame. go listen to bon iver or fleet foxes and fill your contemporary head with lyrics that tell you how to feel, rather indulge embarrassing yourself by an audience that actually knows what the art behind this song

  • @Bingo1059 my god, to think i'm arguing with a child.

listen, that 'bland' is exactly what kaz is trying to get at. he's not taking sides on what is morally wrong, he's simply stating the content of individuality, not our personal everyday utilization of ethics..

i read biographies of average people. who the hell are you to speak for what i enjoy? who are you to speak for the however assumed small audience reads or listens to? have you ever heard of minimalism ? obviously not.

  • @iliveforthemaga If every song was written in the context of the author, then every song would be horribly bland. Word's can't capture emotion very well whatsoever. We don't read biographies on "Average Bob" or "Joe the Plumber", we read them on exciting life's, or more likely on exaggerated fiction. If we had to "respect" everyone so much to accept a straight out lie and roll around in it, then that makes you the "righteous pig."

Conclusively, the phrase "It's okay to be yourself" is a lie.
