Beck went after Van Jones because the group Van Jones co-founded is now working to get advertisers to stop advertising on his show. Why? Because Beck called Obama a racist that really hates white people on Fox & Friends. How a guy who chose a white guy as VP, a white woman as Secretary of State, kept a white guy on as Defense Secretary, kept a white guy on at the Treasury, has a white chief of staff and I don't know how many other white guys around him, is a racist, well only Beck knows.

Fired? Van Jones resigned. Kind of how Mike Brown resigned from the Bush Administration.

Maher was wrong on how Van Jones left, but politically speaking, it would've been worse to try to defend Van Jones.

Why did Bush FIRE... oh wait he let Brown resign didn't he? Was Bush backstabbing "Heckuva Job Brownie"?

I trust Obama's judgement in this one case: When Obama FORCED VAN JONES TO RESIGN!!! You don't follow history & politics much, do you, DisturbedHavok ? When has any administration advisor of any administration ever been fired? Every single time, it is called: asked to step down (resign) because they are ALL about to be FIRED if they don't.

regardless of the good-natured bantering, there has to be some professional jealousy in the mix. he loves to reduce beck's theories to cartoons. i think o'reilly is running out of steam and is a year or two from retirement. he might be moving to switzerland. o'reilly wanted to go out as the number one ratings grabber on fox but that may not be possible now. bill is going to have a howard beal moment any day now. the van jones story is pretty huge and o'reilly belittles it....shame.

If you watch the Glenn Beck videos where he's talking about Jones he plays Jones in his OWN words saying these things. The proof is in the audio and video that Glenn played and still plays on his show.

So if you say that about Obama you must defend Bush. Van Jones is a SELF PROCLAIMED communist, was a member of the Black Panther group, has called white kids who shoot up schools a horrible epidemic and that blacks somehow dont do similar if not worse than whites.
