I have a question: Can you switch from flying in a fixed winged mode to a hovering mode mid air?

@Munty102 Yes that was the whole goal, and vise versa. I just made a video about the tricopter transition into forward flight but it went into the ground! I know now what to do sooner and slower. Experience is the best teacher.

hovering is never easy.... try to lower your CG and add separate prop for pitch control.

@olivervcto The third prop was a must check out my latest tilting trirotor in the video responses.

the lower center of gravity makes for a swinging motion after correction you want any VTOL to be balanced around that thrust point .

@slyfoxflyer66 Well the concept is still going only the design is changing. I will continue on this later with one of Gress' vector450s but for now making a helicopter into an airplane is much easier than making a airplane into a helicopter in terms of design and programing control functions but both are very challenging.

@rctestflight Yes it has piezo gyros the cheapest on the market and that was a major down fall.
