I've got a new set of glow plugs to put in the truck, as I've got one or two out now. Anyway, so I decided to see how it would start without waiting for the plugs to heat, and with 20% Biodiesel in the tank.. it actually started better than I thought it would. Batteries are a little weak, and will need to be replaced next winter. The temperature was 16 degrees, and this was taken today, 01-21-08 1999 F-250 7.3L PSD 94.5k miles,

  • get a real truck!

  • Even tho the engine is crankin over the glow plugs will still heat up.. Unless you disconnect the relay they will heat up. This vid just showed how long it took for the plugs to get warm enough to let the engine fire over while it was crankin. It would take a few minutes befor the engine fired on own..

  • @shorty138869 : In Europe Diesel are 9,95$ a gallon and over 10$ dollar gas....

  • You all are fuckin dip shits including NHSchumer you are a complete fuckin dumb ass and you need to shut the fuck up you have no clue what the fuck your talking about.

  • ok retards... if stating a diesel without waiting for the glow plugs is bad for it... why do none of the new JD tractors have glow plugs? why dont semis have them? and why doesnt hardly and diesel but pickups have glow plugs? (reason being, some people are stupid and will try to start a diesel pickup when they dont know how) and straight pipes will now burn out a turbo. i have no clue where in the hell you came up with that... straight pipes will increase boost not damage it

  • I run WMO in my truck, It's free, I pay about $0.40 a gallon with the electric bill running my centrifuge system.......pays itself off as soon as you get the raw WMO to refine.

It works for me, maybe it's something you could think about later on.

  • strait pipes are gonna burn your turbo and fuck your bio-diesel is fucking stupid! fuck you for not using diesel fuel! your just a greedy fat man. if you can afford that truck then you can afford fuel. think of how many men depend on you buying the fuel that they drill out of the ground. thnx alot dick!!!

  • strait pipes are gonna burn your turbo

  • Not bad. My 99 7.3 is a Pain in the backside to start. No clue what it is. New relay, new glowplugs. Yours must be an oddball

  • Diesel here in the UK is £1.35 a litre - to you Americans, that would be about $9 a gallon.
