while watches with a 36000 bph are rare (from what I know, only Zenith's El Primero mvmnt and a few Grand Seikos have them), they are not necessarily "better" or more expensive than its slower-beating counterparts. For instance, Tag Heuer uses ETA movements that beat at 28800 bph while A.Lange&Sohne's watches beat at either 18000bph or 21600bph. Moreover, IWC's 7-day power reserve movement also beat at 21600bph. So, there isn't really any correlation between beat rate and quality or exclusivity

Not many accessories symbolize wealth and power as strongly as watches do! I actually just purchased a beautiful Movado watch for 1/16 of the actual price on ebay!
Hate to ramble on, but if you type "MOVADO ESPERANZA MEN'S BLACK MUSEUM GOLD" in the search bar on ebay.com you will see what I'm talking about! The seller is cheap_video_games and his watches are UNREAL!
Type "MOVADO ESPERANZA WOMAN'S BLACK MUSEUM GOLD" for a deal on the female version of the watch as well...YOU WILL BE SHOCKED!!

"cousu a main": hand-stitched in french, and yes, 5396's come with an alligator strap, as do it's nautilus equivalent the 5726A (same caliber) and the 5205 (same caliber too but, in this last case, without the fold over clasp) and every single patek with a leather strap, I believe.

@italomagic1 The same kind of attention that $100 bills hanging out of your pockets and a giant sign that says "rob me" would get you.

i bought one for 200 dollars

@xclarryx You are so right. This piece of perfection would look good on anyone. Just imagine the attention this thing would get ya!

@Rublo8370 One hell of a classic watch that will definitely appreciate in value. Truly amazing timepiece. It's very unfortunate that almost all of us will never afford to own a Patek. Then again dreaming never hurt anyone.

stunning watch, from one of my favorite brands :)
Nice watch but here's a couple of video tips for ya.
Try holding the watch STILL rather than massaging the camera lens with the watch . Also try white balancing before you record and a reflector between you and the watch (I know you might not figure this out).

@zippyfred I'm sorry sir, your tips will come in handy. I like to massaing camera lenses with my watches though, so it might be a while before I get to doing this :)

You said that you "sized It" for your uncle. It's a leather strap on a deployant. Would you not just move the stud from one hole to the next? Maybe It's because you dont want to use any other hole but the one that fits your uncles wrist. Im thinking this Is no average leather strap, nor timepiece.

@chronomax1 That's exactly it.. I did not want to use any other hole but the one that fits his wrist. Brand new watch and strap, popped it out of the sealed plastic - didn't want to ruin the perfection! Also, when pushing it on the hole it requires some force and bending/manipulation of the strap.
