  • "extended" edition...

  • god damn... everybody can understand that thing in different way. I think, that the forbidden love between Frodo and Sam is kinda cute & beautiful, but I know, that Tolkien didn't mean that. He meant, that Frodo and Sam are just friends. And Elijah & Sean are definitely not gay :D come on, guys: Sean is married with Christine! and btw, there is nothing wrong to be gay O__o

  • Both of these guys are gay in the movie, in real life, and middle earth..

  • @hcpalko U mad bro?

  • funny thing is that this video actually oved me...as a die hard lotr fan i ignored the gay stuff and just saw how much sam and frod mean to each other as brothers. thanks <3 u lotr

  • Haha, they had so many homoeroticly charged moments in the movie. Just kiss and get it over with.

  • @bogoas81 I think they're talking about Frodo's father, but I agree Frodo & Sam are not gay. It ruins the story to say their friendship was based on anything other than camaraderie and brotherly love. I think Morrigan1487 is just biased and may not be able to understand such a friendship.

  • u guys are taking this way to seriously its a joke but heres to clear things up...

frodo and sam were not meant to be gay, in the beginning of the book tolkien writes that frodo is trying to find a branybuck wife in buckland and the baggins disagree.

as for sam he has always loved rosie and so he marries her

    there u have it

    now stop fighting!

  • @GreenAshR47 I think you might be accrediting Morrigan1487's earlier comment to me. I agree with you that Frodo and Sam's friendship is not depicted as having a sexual underpinning. I don't think Frodo is a sexualised in LOTR - there's no clear text for a physical attraction from him to other characters. I think that would undermine the reader's sense of the isolation and separation Frodo experiences, as the sole bearer of the Ring & its burden. Afterwards he can't couple - & leaves for the West
