Both videos were awesome. I was wondering what was your yield per plant? Based on my memory I think you said in the video that you had 15 seeds germinate and produced 24 pumpkins. That works out to 1.6 pumpkins per plant. I was just wondering if this was your yield or was it higher?

What amazingly helpful videos. Thank you so much. And what a grateful and generous heart you have. I love how you thanked God (and your mom and uncle) at the end. Great job!

It takes all of 120 days = 4 months. In my case, all of June, July, August, September.

What is under your pumpkins and why is it there? It looks like wood or some other material.
I planted pumpkins for the first time in my garden this year and was overwhelmed by how much space they took up. I started them inside a fenced garden but led the limbs under the fence and into the yard. I ended up with 26 pumpkins and my better half made several nice sweets from them.
I did have two of my pumpkins invaded by chipmunks. They ate the whole inside out of them.

My neighbour supplied me with small wood boards which I placed under each pumpkin to prevent it from rotting on the wet ground.
I have heard that racoons are just as fond of pumpkins as chipmunks.

any pumpkins this year, Dennyby?

I will be lucky to get even a few pumpkins this year. There has been a lot of rain, which makes for soggy plants and increased insect activity. There has not been much sun to encourage the fruit to ripen. It has also been unseasonably cool - the temperature has reached 80F (27C) only twice all season.
