When the show premiered in 1968, it featured two live action serials. the first was unique because it featured an animated backdrop of ancillary characters interacting with three young people. Look up "the new adventures of husk finn" produced by edward rosen. The other was "danger island", which was a lame dramatic kiddie-sitcom. other features were the cartoons "the arabian knights" and "the three musketeers" besides skits and antics by the B.S.

God, I remember this show! It was one of those weird shows that would come on Cartoon Network at 3am long before they had Toonami Midnight run/Adult Swim/Whatever they have now.

This show was a success because it cost almost nothing to make. Build sets, have people run around in costumes, dub in dialog sound FX and canned laughter. No actors, rehersal, makeup or wardrobe
Wonder if they ever recycled scenes with other dialog?
