Semi-talented as I am, I am working for at least ten of the top opera companies in Europe (names upon request). I unapologetically insist that your dreams of bringing opera to the masses don't bring you to the height of a sub-par Bocelli. Sorry. And, if the sound is THAT crappy, for goodness' sake, pull the video.

Aparently a semi-talented reviewer (you) was assuming that what you are hearing on this video is how it sounded. MISTAKE. The extremely poor audio quality is due to the recording device. The East Village Opera Company is bringing some of the great opera standards to a new generation and breathing new and needed life into them. Otherwise they will go the way of the dinosaur. So if you truly love opera you should be able to appreciate that this is giving it exposure it would not otherwise have!

Absolutely horrible. Cannot these semi-talented little pop singers at least have the good grace to leave opera standards alone? Even with the microphone, thin and unpleasant. Boo!!!
