....and as much as I miss the music, attitudes, clothes (yes even the clothes) and "innocence"haha of the 80's....there are definitely some modern day technologies that make some things in life so much easier....thanks again!

I'd forgot how terrible "St Elmos" was - until this reminded me ....

@nerdtalk326 please god NO...nothing can replace/supercede/the film..just leave it all alone...why do people always want a sequel...lets just enjoy what we had and still can have by watching the DVD ..and leave the rest to the imagination

@therantingboy What, was Estevez worse than Andie 'couldn't Glenn Close have dubbed her voice again' McDowell? Anyway, now that we've figured out who's funeral kicks off the film we should work on the script ;)
-
@GregOrCreg lol, yes Estevez is expendable and worst performance in my opinion. Love the Martin Sheen dad idea, oh wait! Martin Sheen is Bud Fox's dad in Wall Street!
-
@therantingboy I can't see all the characters reuniting for McDowell's funeral. Did anyone else in the gang know her apart from Estevez? Since Estevez was probably the most underwritten of the gang I reckon his character should be killed off. Plus as the token 'nice guy' his death has the most pathos. They could even rope in Martin Sheen to play his 'onscreen' dad at the funeral, though for insurance purposes it's probably best Charlie sits this one out...
-
@GregOrCreg He didn't say whose funeral it was. If I had to write a St Elmo's sequel around a funeral I would probably go with the funeral of a sub character like Andie McDowell's, I wouldn't want to lose any of them. Estevez and Sheedy's roles were probably most underwritten so they could be expendable but I would want them in there. So yeah, McDowell to die!
BTW I saw Rob Lowe at Q&A in London and got to ask him about a possible St Elmo's sequel. He mentioned a script came his way about it being based around a funeral but it never happened (obviously!). We joked that I'd write and send him a script. He's a freaking awesome guy!

Are you saying the only release of this song was on side B of the 45?

@marais75012 That is correct. I have the whole soundtrack on CD and it's no where to be found.
