  • it depends if we see it or not , taken that it's only i effect for the post season who's to say were going to see any overtime games in next seasons playoffs .

  • @skinsfanatic81 come on fam the new commish has come in and shaken some old stuff up. i say it's in this season.

  • The team's owners are the ones that vote for or against these change of rules that come up every now and then.

The Vikings owner is Zygi Wilf. I've done a little research and the reason he didn't vote in favor of the change is because 1. He's a traditionalist and then 2. He said that if a change IS going to be made, he wanted it to be in BOTH the regular season and the post-season. Not just one or the other. Which I agree with to an extent.

That's why the Vikings were opposed to the change.

  • @ComMain can't do that fam. i don't want what happened to CBS and the tourney. if regular season games in in a tie cool.

  • I like it. It's to easy to score a FG. I agree with you Mr. Batch I'm also kinda surprised the Vikings voted against it since they never got the ball in OT for the NFC Championship game.

  • @spdfrk1087 fam when i found out who voted and why. that caught me off guard. being that close to going to the Super Bowl, heck don't you want a chance to take a shot also?

  • Nice video...However, I respectfully disagree. Only 52% of the teams that won the coin toss (before moving the kickoff back to the 30 yard line in 1994) actually won the game. The NFL feels it has to compensate for other rule changes, by making other rule changes. Overtime used to mean sudden death. Now...it means, sudden death...maybe? Terrible rule change, but typical. I have a video on this as well at jced29. Again, very well presented video. Thanks.

  • I think it's only for the playoffs. In the regular season, I think it's still sudden death and the first team that puts points on the board wins.

  • @TXBluez13 fam if they do this during regular season. when will the game be over?

  • I think its gonna workout pretty nicely but it can be seen as sort of a trial run this year an hopfully soon they can have both the post season and regular running on the same rules

  • SICK VIDEO MAN =D
