  • The 'Full House' all male line up

  • @kevinbking1 you should treat yourself to so Steyleye Span, there's some awesome shows here on utubby

  • I have been mesmerized for the last 72 hours by FC and Swarb in particular, after a friend turned me on to them. I can't stop listening to the Maidstone Fiesta clips! Help!

  • @pjotr60dvd you almost get the feeling the Spinal Tap parody on a multitude of drummers is a Tull based joke

  • @pjotr60dvd

the band playing is ok - I like the quicker stuff (its in time! -joke)

On your list - famous artists tend to hire famous drummers - it does not mean they are great players or technical players

Paul Mac has played with Steve Gadd Ringo Ian Paice and Keith Moon off the top of my head

Very different drummers but Steve Gadd and Ian Paice were a class above the others and indeed most drummers you have ever heard unless you listen to a lot of Jazz

I will give your ref a go tho

  • @pinball1970 Listen to the live version in LA Troubadour (House Full LP).

  • @pinball1970 Depends on the version. He is on the original with Sandy Denny. Fairport has had other drummers in the 80ies.

  • @pinball1970 Tull has had a few drummers and Mattacks has been one of them. About the names I mentioned, yes I am serious, I even skipped about 25 other singers and groups he played with. Maybe he had an off day, but the fact remains he was a very in demand drummer during the seventies, eighties, nineties...

  • @pjotr60dvd

nothing in there technical to speak of unless Page had his Zep head on

I thought Jethrow tull were mainly clive bunker?? - he is a good drummer

The Proclaimers and Cat Stevens?? are you serious?

  • @pjotr60dvd

    As in Matty Groves?

1st heard that in 91 and thought it was great so there you go
