@GuillemLover Yes. He teached many stars including Mukhamedov too! Everybody just knows about Malakhov, Tsiskaridze, Mckie, Ratmansky because they are international. Pestov is famous in Russia because he also made his students read books and go to art galleries and museums and test them later about it. Thats why his students know lot about art and dance history and stay passionite about ballet. Ilya Kuznetsov is continuing his intentions and legacy.

I have just read in the news of Petr Pestov and his passing away. I have always admired his pupils like Tsizkaridze, Malakhov, Ratmansky and many others at the Bolshoi Ballet. Among his successful last dancers in Stuttgart were the Kozadayev twins, Jorge Nozal of NDT and more recently outstanding McKie. There are also young students that have emerged like Camargo and Volpi. A great talent like Messerer, Puschkin and Stanley Williams.
