„Three other sisters" is a chamber opera for a voice, string and saxophone quartets and electronics. The opera is based on the novel by A. Chekhov "Three sisters", which was complemented by the true events from the two women's life who lived in 20th century. Here, instead of Olga, Masha and Irina act other three sisters - Nina, Nadia and Natasha, whose characters merges in a musical part performed by one vocalist.

Although these characters are from the different times, they are united by the past memories and the longing of Moscow. Other images had come from the original life stories which happened to Nina and Nadia. The third, „other" sister Natasha is a fictitious persona, the central figure, involving the intrigue into the opera: is she a result of two sisters'imagination or is she a persona who had really lived and is just lost in their memories?

The structure of the work consists of three parts, when sisters supposedly appeals to each other.

Albertas Navickas, composer: "The material of the opera, in contrast to the identity of the characters, is completely separated. The vocal techniques become the unique features of each sister's identity. The electronic part helps to understand the changes in time."
