See http://appliedcolors.com. Here we squeegee color-matching automotive paint into frontal rock chip damage on this dark green hood. We then remove the excess paint with our proprietary chemical, Paint Leveler. The good paint stays in the chips, the excess is transferred into a disposable towel. The repair is permanent and can be washed, waxed, pressure washed, or polished within 5 minutes.

  • Would you ever use the bondo glazing and spot putty sold in your kits to fill chips then spread the paint over the chips using the squeegee?

  • @hoopfan71 Yes. Only necessary on deep chips that have exposed primer or metal.

  • @ AppliedColors.....Question for you? what kinda of paint leveler do you use? And why is it not recommended to touch up Rear bumpers, because its plastic? Also im thinking about buying a kit.

  • @nprforlife Paint Leveler is an excess paint remover that we manufacture. We don't discourage anyone from touching up plastic bumpers...the paint sticks just as well to plastic.
