The vast majority of whites had better education opportunities while it was illegal for blacks to learn...Blacks are still being discriminated against. I don't know about the continent but if you mean my country than it is not 400 years old. And yes there was the KKK and unjust laws against black people. today however, blacks have more rights. You also can have a free education if you want. Most whites are as far behind the vast minority of rich whites as anyone else when they start out. If you go by mostly black countries then you also have a 400 year head start if you are in an affluent nation.
