Simon O'Donnell learns the Dardinski method at Project Walk, California so that he can train recently paralysed endurance athlete, Mark Pollock, when they return to Ireland next week. Designed to exercise paralysed bodies the method gives Mark the opportunity to be as fit and healthy as possible despite his spinal cord injury. Working his paralysed legs over the past four weeks, for the first time since his accident, has provoked a connection to his legs which Mark describes as "...not feeling the way I used to but a sense of my legs, a connection with the ground and sometimes a feeling of warmth and pulse..."
so fuckin happy i got a photo with this guy, rock on mark!
