  • Nothing resembles Allah

  • Allah does NOT have a how as Allah is the One Who Created the 'how' and Existed Eternally without it and still exists without a how!

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS IMAGINING ALLAH. YOU. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SAYS "ALLAH IS ABOVE THE THRONE".

  • @2011rockythunder So you were just born as a matter of fact with such distinction and perfection just as a luck with the probability of something around 0.000000000000000000000000 I dont know how many more 0's 000001. Its a criminal saying when you say there is no God. If you say there is no God then tell me why is there no God?

  • I wonder when all religious people will realise there is no god and just get on with their lives.

  • this brother is a student of DR.ZAKIR NAIK i can tell just by his body language ;) mashAllah

  • ^ Ibn Mas'ood's quote was narrated by the famous Hadith Scholar, Imam Ibn Khuzaymah (d. 311 A.H.) in his "Saheeh" (915) & elsewhere

♠ It was authenticated Imam Adh-Dhahabi (• of whom Tāj-ud-Dīn As-Subkī said, “He is the Shaykh of Jarḥ & Taʾdīl [Authentication & Disparagement of Ḥadīth reporters]” — it was also authenticated by Al-Hafizh Al-Hakami in his Ma'aarij Al-Qubool (1/155); by Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah in As-Sawaa’iq Al-Mursalah 'ala Al-Jahmiyyah wal-Mu'attilah (435), and many others.

  • Arabic Text of the Quote (very explicit): Ibn Mas'ood (may Allah be pleased with him), the scholar of the sahaabah, رضي الله تعالى عنه وأرضاه, said the following words:

  • The Prophet's Companion, 'Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood left not even a shadow of a doubt when he clarified the reality for us all when he said:

“Between the lowest heaven & the one above it is a distance of 500 years. Between each heaven & the next is a distance of 500 years marching. Between the 7th heaven & the Kursiy is another 500 years. Between the Kursiy & the water is 500 years. The Throne is above the water, and Allah is above the Throne, and not a single one of your deeds is hidden from Him.”

  • ♠ Al-Haafizh 'Uthman Ibn Sa'eed Ad-Daarimi (d. 282 A.H. - the Famous Hadith Master), of "Sunan" fame, wrote as follows:

"So there is unanimous consensus amongst the Muslims & non-Muslims that Allah (God) is above the heavens; even the little children that have not yet come of age know this! For you find, if one of them is distressed with a matter, that he raises his hands upwards, to the skies, making a Du'aa' (supplication) to Allah, and he does not point in any other direction."

  • ○ You know, ‘Ali Ibn Al-Hasan ibn Shaqeeq (رحمه الله), the Shaykh/TEACHER of Imam Bukhari, said:

I said to ‘Abdullah Ibn Al-Mubarak (رحمه الله): How do we know our Lord?

He said: He is above the 7th heaven above His Throne. And we do not say as the Jahmiyyah do, that He is present here on earth.

That was said to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (رحمه الله), and he said: This is how we understand it.

^ Imam Adh-Dhahabi (رحمه الله) said, commenting on the above report: "This is authentic and proven." ☺

  • Had this she been wrong in her answer to his question -(Above the heavens!), Allah's Messenger would've been obliged to clarify her creedal error @ that very moment! Rather, he praised her as being a true Mu'minah (believer)!

This young girl was uneducated, as many are, and she was a slave, but she knew that her Lord is above heaven. Some misguided 'educated' people deny that Allah is above heaven, and say, "He is neither above nor below; neither to the right nor to the left. He is everywhere!"

  • ^ The above Prophetic Hadith is reported, with various chains & various wordings, in almost ALL of the major works of Hadith, thus the attempt by certain sects to try to cast doubt on its authenticity are ludicrous and laughable really. • This particular wording is reported in Sahih Muslim (1/1094).

The point of this Blessed Hadith is that our Messenger bore witness that she was a believer, based on her simple testimony that Allah was transcendent above creation & that he was Allah's Messenger.
