  • @horselover7746 Folks are just sharing their opinions in a similar fashion to the video poster. Most of the comments seem to be constructive or relevant to the content rather than trolling. I agree with your take it or leave it perspective but its great to read others opinions as they add perspective.

  • Ppl she knows what she's doing...just because she says something doesnt mean you have to follow it.it's her personal opinion and if you don't like it then don't use.

  • hmm this is sad. Eye contact is a BIG NO when you catch a horse. BIGBIGBIG no. Eye contact is intimidating to a horse.

  • Ummm, not the correct way to put on a halter.

  • try the treats?

  • what? no way! just try it!

  • same here

  • ok thnx

  • him. The last way to try and catch an unruly horse can be to simply make him run. Have a medium sized pasture to make it more efficient. When you approach your horse to catch him and he runs, swing a leadrope or wave your arms.Running=Work.DONT chase him, or he will be even harder to catch.Dont let him stop,or he'll think you will give up.If he stops, faces you, and looks at you, reward him verbally and slowly walk up to his shoulder. If he runs, make him work again. Hope I help.

  • This will make him think "Maybe she'll give me a treat.Ill go to her and find out!" If that doesn't work, approach him with the halter at your side or behind your back while he's grazing, and when he raises his head, stop where you are.If he doesn't run, take a step forward. If he looks away like he might try and run away, turn your back to him.wwhen he turns to you, turn as much 2wards him as he did you.he turns, you turn.after a while he should be facing you, hold your hand out and slowly approach
