we all can do something. like plant trees in our homes or community, make our family and relatives aware, stop the mindless consumerism..buy something only if u need it, use public transport, save power...don't keep your laptops or fan or tubelights on for no reason, dont waste water etc etc ...if everybody starts doing such things all this will be curtailed

@Beeirish1965 Its not necessarily the point, Yes they did use alot of the cups to make the video and it was for advertisement, but the fact that all The starbucks stopped using paper cups for one day for those who brought in their own mugs, is what is making a difference. Its like when everyone turns of electricity for one hour.. It may have not been a huge difference, Its showing everyone about making the initiative to recycle and use reusable products whenever you can.

I was in new york when they were doing this on my 8th grade dc trip! we had no idea what was going on in the middle of the street with all those cups, but now i know =) we could see it off the empire state building!
