Vikram Aur Vetaal Stories Part 1

Vikram Aur Betaal was a children's television programme aired on DD National. The series contained stories from Indian mythology that aim at teaching kids lessons of life while entertaining them. The concept of the program was based on Baital Pachisi, a collection of tales about the semi-legendary King Vikram (identified as Vikramāditya) and the Vetala, a huge vampire-like being.

@bksgm no sir. its from a historic book in sanskrit,( betaal pacheesi, urdu translation)) written about 2000 yrs ago. its been translated in more than 10 languages including Gujrati. i read it in urdu. original manuscript is lost. but translations are available. its not about entertainment only but also tells about realities of life and how to decide in difficult situations. from lahore

This was a fabulous serial..used to love it..but used to get scared of betaal...always had this feeling that some night a ghost would jump on my back from a tree!!now its hilarious..but love it!!DD gave a lot better shows than today's shit!!
