Brian David Phillips (羅狼仁), hypnotist (催眠), presents the "Sleep Flower" set in his comedy hypnosis show at the Live Comedy Club Taipei, Dec. 7, 2007 (Taipei, Taiwan). Note that this particular clip shows the proper way to handle an unexpected occurance on stage. First, do NOT panic but present yourself in charge and calm and ready to deal with things; Second, check to verify that the person is indeed alright; Third, assuming all is right with the world, get things back on track and moving; and, Fourth, learn from the experience and, if needed, adjust future patter and presentation accordingly. In this performance, I gave "your butt is stuck to the chair" type suggestions but this guy was so loose he went down anyway - normally, there is no gap between the seats so a floor dive would not be typical. This clip is from a HYPNO HOT performance (a risque variation of the Brian David Phillips Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show). This particular performance of the show was presented in English (shows with Chinese interpretation are also presented in Taiwan). It is very genuine . . . however, you are absolutely right it won't work on you unless you actually concentrate and allow yourself to be hypnotized (assuming you have the concentration and intelligence and focused imagination abilities required).
