It could mean many things but it was added to the students names as a token of love and connectedness. The first part of their classroom name spelled without the vowels. In this video, STLODY, the person's human name no longer matters, as his new name is "Steel", given to him by his teacher Do as meaning strong as steel.

there's a spiritual inner deepness to this that only makes sense to those who it matters to. The HG classroom were people whose souls were reincarnated through many lifetimes, but in one lifetime had been a disciple or came into contact with Jesus.
