It never ceases to amaze that creative people can make wonderful music using the most humble of instruments like the washboard.
I grew up in the deep south of the US where washboard musicians where popular still 30 or so years back.

Wow I just had a nostalgia trip I saw this guy wayyyy back in 2005 while I was on a school trip over there, never expected for him to be on youtube.
