Never use an electric prop on a nitro engine, even a 1/2 A. :)
-
ill try once i get my camera back but its the exact same as yours and i even made another engine out of the bad engine parts and tried to run it on compressed air but it didnt work.

Not an electric prop. I only fly nitro and have all nitro props. It is cut down yes.

In the interest of safety I would like to see that prop removed and a correct nitro prop installed. It would seem you have an electric prop cut down and they are not designed for the stresses of nitro use. A Master Airscrew 6X3 would work well.

i got a couple of these at a flea market it took apart the two and got the best parts from both and made a really nice engine.

What diameter and pitch is that prop? It looks too big, you need no more than a 6 inch prop on an .049. I suggest you join the forum at RCUniverse and look in the 1/2A forum postings for more info.

Yeah the prop was too big then. Have a APC prop on now which is the correct size for the engine....it now screamsss.

Great stuff. These engines are a lot of fun when they are right. And a serious pain when they aint. LOL

I definately agree to that last part by saying they are a pain. ALL nitro engines are a pain!!
