This is a Numbers Game from Letters And Numbers, the Australian adaptation of the French game show Des chiffres et des lettres, and the latest adaptation of the show (with the first adaptation being the very popular British game show Countdown), which went to air on SBS ONE on Tuesday 5th October 2010.

I think it's very safe to say that in the 45 years that Des chiffres et des lettres has been on air, and in the 28 years that Countdown has been on air, I don't think even those shows could match the absolute easiness of the Numbers Game that Letters And Numbers offered after just two months, and in this clip, you will see just how easy it is.

Even absolute idiots could get this one correct well within the 30-second time limit!

This is undoubtedly the easiest Numbers Game in the world.

  • 25-3 = 22

    9+2 = 11

    22/11=2

    2-1=1

    1+100=101

  • Great to see they've stuck with the proper Countdown presentation - this show really doesn't need fancy graphics and computers to shine. Shame the Americans never realised that.

  • @hoggys2much I couldn't disagree more. First bit is outright bad, it was French first with a title translating to Numbers & Letters (heh). Clock music makes a cool noise at the end, but that's my opinion. And Lily - most would say she's gorgeous.

  • @hoggys2much They didn't change the name. They did a direct translation of the original name.

  • It's his strength cause he's Asian.

  • 2+3 = 5

    9-5 = 4

    25x4 = 100

    100+1 = 101

  • Getting to 101, oh you'd better believe that's a paddlin'.

  • I got 102

  • 100+(9x3)-25-2+1

  • 9/3=3

    3-2=1

    1x1=1

    1+100=101

  • i did it the most complicated way

    9-1=8

    25+8=33

    33x3=99

    99+2=101

    i didnt notice the 100 cuz i was already doing math b4 the 100 was said

  • 25+9-1x3+2
