The NSPDS 'Routine for the Nation' 2010 Competition at Oceana, Plymouth on Sunday 23 May 2010 was a resounding success.
Competitors, their family and friends came to support the event from all over the UK.
The aim of the Competition was to find a routine that was simple, but effective and entertaining to watch. Whilst the Judging criteria was strict and the standard of competition extremely high, the panel of 9 Judges were able to make a unanimous decision as to the winning 'Routine'.
Our vision was to create a synchronised routine that can be rolled out to pole performers all over the Country to learn, enjoy and perform together!
WE HAVE NOW FOUND THAT ROUTINE!!!!!
Congratulations to...
SARAH SCOTT and AMY WILLIAMS, STUDIO22
Our 'Routine for the Nation' 2010 Winners!
So now the time has come for us all to start learning the ROUTINE and prepare for a Guinness Book of Records attempt in 2012!!!!!!
You do not need to be a member of a pole-dance school, but it will help with learning of the routine(s) if you are. Schools embracing the learning of NSPDS routines will be listed on the website .
Notwithstanding opportunities that might present, great fun and experience is to be gained. You'll find yourself being able to join in with colleagues around the Country, performing NSPDS synchronised routines whenever and wherever you choose!
Training events will soon be announced and hosted over the UK. You will be free to attend as many or as few of these as you want. The objective is to have fun, learn, keep fit and gain fun opportunities and experience along the way
This is a non-commercial project which aims to facilitate the raising of funds through NSPDS training and Charity events across the Country.
The NSPDS is a communication medium only. Its function is to facilitate the movement of dancers around the country who want to learn and perform synchronised poledance routines. It cannot be held liable for actions and/or omissions resulting in loss and/or injury to individuals and/or their property. Anyone co-ordinating events in the name of NSPDS must ensure that they have appropriate Health and Safety measures in place and be covered by their own Insurance. This will enable events to be undertaken professionally and with confidence.
