ive tried indonesia satay before..i went to jakarta the other day..am not being bias..but indonesia satay is nothing compare to us..i mean most of indons food are plain..not enuff flavor..thats why people call malaysia is the food heaven..indonesia may created something like rendang,satay wat so ever..but guess what..we malaysian..we perfected it

satay is symbol of malaysian food, we don't say that satay is malaysian food only, many satay u can found aroung asian...such thai satay, malaysian satay, indonesian satay and singapore satay. each of them have their uniq way to prepare it..that make satay best.
malaysian called this food as they symbol is how they appriecite the dish not calling that indonesian satay not good. keep in mind we have same root in culture and food
