Yes, your health care & education may be free (K-12 is free in the US too), but if the wage earner dies prematurely, how is the family going to replace it? The most cost efficient way is through the purchase of life insurance. While the government may provide a small benefit for kids under 18, it's certainly not sufficient to replace the lost income.

Life insurance creates money at the time when it's most needed & provides security, dignity & peace of mind for the beneficiaries.

Great reminder! I'm glad that that I made a descision to buy Life Insurance when I was younger and healthier. My family would be taken care of if something happens to me. Its exactly like the video says. I am glad that someone is talking about the topic. Most people are not confortable addressing this issue. Most of them probably don't have coverage themselves.

We pride ourselves in being there for families who need help, because life is uncertain. Does Canada have free auto loans as well, or free house mortgages? What about income replacement?
