Christmas Eve with Ed 1997

In 1997 a christmas gathering occured at Sharon's house. Sharon is Ed's sister. This and possibly other videos to come this year, are video records ot these merry, and happy times.

Sharon's husband Rick is coming up soon. He was in an accident and is upstairs laying in bed on painkillers So, hang on Rick you show up soon.

Honestly though it wasn't always canned asparagus. My Mom would also buy really fresh asparagus at first, and even grew it in N.Y., and we had to wait a year for the next crop or something.

With all the eggs, and sauce, lots of cream, it sort of cover up a lot of the asparagus taste. The best is to use baby asparagus.

That is wonderful AldousLeary! The recipe calls for a can of asparagus... i think. I almost made the recipe once, but honestly i do not cook much. I ended up just having an egg salad sandwich.

I just cleaned my kitchen 2 years ago and found the can of asparagus i was going to use. It was 12 years old. I thought it was too old to give away, so i threw it out. I was thinking of pulling a mad max, and opening the can, but got on the internet instead.

@D3R3K1600 I agree. I think i read it during my twenties and thirties, 3 or 4 times i enjoyed it so much. I found by the time i was almost finished with the novel i felt like i was a mind reader.
