I still think it was an insurance job.
Burn down a loss-making, near derelict building that the owner would never get permission to remove and replace. Then get the insurance payout to finance the re-building of a new pavillion which, accompanied by the free advertising that is guaranteed, will start making a profit again.

I was there about 2 days before it burnt down, i loved it! I went to Western the other day and went in the new pier it is lovely. . . but this one is still there the remains of it <3 surpose its History

ITS REBUILT NOW SO SHHH ABOUT OH NO WHERE THE FIRE FIGHTERS SHH THE PIER OPENED ON SATURDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2010 OK ! i went on it yesterday :) i insure u not to go on it yet its paked of tourist, PISSTAKERS,shovers,twats and lots more dumbasses :)
