Mike Patton Puts Wolfmother In Their Place

For those of you hating on Mike, check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kVrbs... . Chris Ross and Myles Heskett formerly of Wolfmother (currently in Wolfmother when this video takes place) don't seem to mind sharing the stage with Patton at all. Keep in mind before posting about him contradicting himself by making an album of old 60s Italian pop music that he isn't basing his entire career off of that one type of sound like Wolfmother has done with Led Zeppelin. Of course you're not going to take this into consideration and you're still going to post whatever you want to but that will not change the fact that this year he has been touring with Faith No More headlining music festivals around the world, the Mondo Cane (the Italian music ) album should be released this summer, and Crudo (hip hop album), the album with Dan the Automator he mentions in the video, is due out in 2011. Thats three different bands. Three different music genres. Wolfmother continues to rip off Led Zeppelin. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Mike Patton is a beast of a vocalist and has a lengthy portfolio. His work on dan the automators "music to make love to your old lady by" is just a testament to how diverse and ranging this guy is. Everyone unfamiliar with mike patton likely doesn't know music period.

wolfmother suck shit...unfortunately like most aussie bands (Jet;s another example) are stuck in the fucking 70s..not everything Patton's done has been great (in my opinion) but at least he's looking forward creatively..wolfmother are a bunch spotty pipsqueaks (with shit 70;s afros) who borrowed their older brothers Deep Purple records and are stuck in a 70s never never land , never to return..fuck wolfmother and their ignorant shitty fans

It must be terrible to be a Wolfmother fan if it gets you this upset, I'm a fan of a lot of Patton's work (not just because he's talented, he also tends to work with some excellent musicians), and I don't give half a fuck what his opinion of ANYTHING is.

I can't imagine how much less of a toss I'd give if I didn't like the guys stuff, I'm guessing the constant pity tinged ridicule from normal people drives them insane.
