Their were awesome, but I'm a rocker from way back. Lucky enough to have the best in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, fleetwood mac, rod stewart, so many blues I can't write. Lucky hippie from the 60's. thanks for your reply.

@noremorse146 John is one of those people who really doesn't like ANYBODY. He see's people and judges their worth on how THEY can benefit HIM. The tensions were there the moment John took over and his songs propelled them to stardom. He resented them being credited with any contributions and they resented not being "allowed" to contribute. An extremely disfunctional band. John never wanted to be in a band,he just had them there because he couldn't play every instrument simultaneously!

All the attention and love John never got growing up,all the jealousy he felt his whole life for Tom. Creedence was Johns revenge on his brother and anyone else he felt wronged him . Yeah,Tom could be in the band,but only as long as Tom knew it was JOHN'S band. Tom eventually got sick of his "kid brothers" tyranny and left.

Looking at this one wouldn't know the contempt John felt for them and they for him. You would actually think they were friends.
