Indestructible by Civilized Tears

I wrote this track over the holidays. It's one of those that just fell from the sky. I think it can be a power ballad and perhaps a duet also. It's about love that survives and thrives against all the odds and haters. I'm playing on an Epiphone in standard tuning though a PA and recorded on photobooth on my 7 year old Mac book pro.

@eGGsplore the Love is indestructible - the cage is a metaphor for everything that holds us back. Some lovers have that special knack of guiding the key from our hands and unlocking us from ourselves.

The critics and haters are those who still remain in their cage. They spit on our love - but we prove them wrong if our love is real.

On secong listening: you mean the cage is indestructible, no? Some truth in that. But not really, freedom may be a good idea, total freedom. Isn´t this shit somehow confusing?

I always liked the hopeful endings. Some say hope is for idiots. Or maybe those who claim that are idiots.
