Here is the best version I have seen of the rare Supersonic, 1976 TV performance of Tull's 1976 title track, "too old to rock'n' roll...too young to die" Enjoy!
I have never seen this one before...EXCELLENT FIND! I've only seen the one which features Dave Pegg on bass and Eddy Jobson on keyboards, which never made any sense to me because THAT band lineup was so far out of the proper era of when the song was released. This one is more true to the time.
This is just beautiful. Great quality video, and one of my very favorite Tull songs. There wasn't any other band doing anything remotely like Jethro Tull was doing at the time, and it's truly amazing how well this has held up. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

This is the clearest clip I've seen of this March 27, 1976 appearance on Supersonic. Nice job Nick.
This is the FIRST ever appearance of John Glascock with the band.
That "Too Old To Rock n Roll" TV special was videotaped in April 1976.
