Mini-Lindsay - The 'Mini' Scrub Turkey

Well, here's proof. Lindsay & Lindsay, our backyard Scrub Turkeys, DO have a chick and here it is for all to see :) You've gotta be quick though, he's a speedy little thing and loves to run back & forth the length of our back fence. You'll see Lindsay-Boy right at the end on this clip too however we haven't seen Lindsay-Girl for a while so she must be off with her other mates.

Nope, not at all. That was the actual speed of Mini-Lindsay ! He/she has now grown up to be about the size of an adult chicken and along with his/her siblings they still frequently visit our backyard with Lindsay. We've even seen the beginnings of a new mound be created in the same position however it doesn't look as though it was aserious attempt at oneso I doubt they're going to nest in our backyard again this year. That's a sad yet happy thing ;)
