probably have to keep changing the settings so one would lag and the other wouldnt so i dont think this helps i have a 2gb ram and 1.73ghz and my still lags hope this helped

i reset my dell inspiron to factory settings last night after i watched this video and i had a look at the hardware acceleration and i was able to change it but i didnt because i didnt have camtasia back yet but i noticed when you get direct x its locks the settings for the hardware acceleration so you could probably set it down low and then install direct x and you would
