I don't really understand what's bad about socialism. European countries have socialism and they flourish, unlike America, where I spent my childhood in poverty with no doctor.

It is not that there is actually something wrong with socialism. It's just a left over prejudice from the cold war. Most of the people who scream about socialism could not tell you the actual definition of the word.

Obummer sucks and has done absolutely nothing positive for our national security. Most politicians are a threat to national security by even being allowed to vote on the defense budget. Give the military its budget its orders, let the Pentagon worry about where the money goes. I have no faith in our elected leaders anymore. Prepare for secession...

"He's smarter than all of us." Really 320 million people? Which he himself came from? This is what disappoints me about Bill Maher. He used to be a fair guy till he became a drone of one side. And he still calls himself a libertarian and idolizes Thomas Jefferson. Who he couldn't be more opposite of. "Distrust for your government and leaders is the greatest form of patriotism.' I guess Bill must have skipped that important quote.

@Fluttercry They aren't truly socialist. They just have some aspects which are a bit more socialist in nature and I don't think it's all that bad as I lived there about a year and a half not including my time deployed when I was stationed in Germany. Anyway, Obama is a moron. He is not smarter than all of us. He has truly destroyed America. Unless of course that was his goal all along...then i'd say he was smarter than all of us.
