My underwater shootings of a Tucunare (Cichla ocellaris) pair guarding their eggs in Bella Vista, Bolivia. This shooting was taken during our expedition in the rainy season in January, 2007.

  • is this in a tank? or in the wild?

  • in the wild. The shooting was taken during an expedition in Bella Vista, Bolivia (January 2007). If you look carefully, you'll notice that the water is brown and quite muddy. It was a typical black-water river. We were very lucky that the fish were just on the shore in shallow waters. The range of sight was probably less than 2 meters.
