4 Tons Of Funk were formed in 2001 with the aim of performing live some of the classic funk-inspired music that can often be heard in discos, nightclubs and pub jukeboxes. Since then the band has gone from strength to strength taking their unique blend of great live music and visual appeal to audiences all over Cornwall. The nine-piece band consists of some of the finest musicians in the SouthWest, creating a fun filled party atmosphere wherever they perform. Not only do they sound awesome they give the crowds a real spectacle to look at with fabulously dressed musicians playing their funky hearts out. Venues that have enjoyed the 4 Tons experience include Carnglaze Caverns, the Falmouth Week Festival, Royal Cornwall Show, Run To The Sun 2009 and the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth. The band is able to provide entertainment at special events, weddings and functions as well as performing in pubs and clubs. 4 Tons Of Funk can provide their own sound and lighting equipment tailored to the needs of the venue and the client. 4 Tons Of Funk will take you on a voyage of funk like you have never been ...
