  • lol native americans...good joke. howling like a bunch of monkeys. going to be honest, im glad the colonists took all their land away. crazy ass people.

  • I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE!!!

  • @zyzor they would have slaughtered magua's hurons and then scalped all of them just like the indians did to the whites.

  • fucking savages. Why didn't colonel munro have some of roger's rangers who specialized in guerilla warfare and anti-indian combat. these guys were the first special forces of modern militaries. they were the forebears of today's army rangers.

  • @brianluk2006 Agincourt was not "just a miracle". Calvary became increasingly less dominant as Infantry developed better tactics, which culiminated in the Spanish tercio, the Pikeman & finally Bayonet Squares.

Battle of Pavia (1525) - Francis I's cavalry charge fails

Battle of Boyne (1690) - Jacobite cavalry defeated against Dutch Square Infantry

The Armor plate you speak of is the Cuirass, which was definitely not as extensive as earlier armor of the 16th century.

  • @emanuelshapera they were still minded....they should have adjusted their tactic

  • @emanuelshapera yes, that's why they should wear armor, because english troops seldom attack the natives in charging and the natives have premative bow and arrows. The cavalry and lancer still use steel plate armor under uniforms in the 18 and 19 century. and agincourt was merely a miracle because of the muddy ground and unorganised and chaotic attack formation

  • @brianluk2006 well their english (or british) what do you expect? lol they have the advanced weapons but have very terrible stragities and uniforms!

  • @brianluk2006 I don't doubt your knowledge. However, armor against un-armored isn't always one-sided. The Spanish won not only because of the protection of their armor, but because of numerous fear factors (bad-omens, light-reflection of armor, horses) & worst of all Small Pox & other diseases.

Armor makes you slow, as it did in Agincourt. With the advent of rifles, armor now lost its only advantage. By this point, regular armor hadn't been used for 100 years, since ~1650

  • @emanuelshapera I am a history lover, and I know everything about most of the history. I know musket is good for a vast army , a rapidly expending British empire and of course long distance travelling during colonization. But from the point of view of weaponry against the natives, armoured troops are better than musketeers during an assault.
