Being a Letterman fan, there was at least one advantage in not having daylight savings. When Nine had the Late Show, Nine/WIN Qld was the only market (apart from WIN WA) to air it at 2am when Melbourne produced The Mint/Quizmania finished because it was live.

Yet, Queensland should be on the same time as the rest of us! I think your chances of DS went with Wayne Goss in '92. Bligh will leave it after the election because Labor pissed off regional voters with the forced council amalgamations.
